Okay so I figured I wouldn't have to update this blog as much as most of my others, so I found myself looking for topics to post. So I think I'm just going to turn this page into my overall Video Games page. I can't think of much at the moment, but for the sake of blogging I'm going to blog about Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 for the Ps2. Yes. I'm old fashioned...I have a ps2.
Anyway, I'm one of those people who usually beats a game within a day of it's purchase and N:UN3 was not any exception. I decided to tackle story mode first which takes the format of a village-wide contest. You of course, take on the persona of Naruto, a 12 year old, over-zealous, little blonde-haired ninja of the Konoha/Leaf Village. If you've played any of the previous Ulitmate Ninja games, watched the Naruto series, or read the Naruto manga, you're already familiar with most of the fundamental characters.
Naruto Uzumaki: The main character, spunky, over-zealous, and a troublemaker at times. Special Ability: Rasengan, Shadow Clones, Nine Tailed Fox.
Sasuke Uchiha: The loner. Dark, mysterious, quiet, and powerful. Special Ability: Sharingan, Chidori
Sakura Haruno: The pink haired heroine who I firmly believe is extremely useless...games or otherwise. Special Ability: The Inner Sakura...blech.
Neji Hyuga: A narcissistic fatalist with intense power. And a ponytail. Special ability: Byakugan.
Hintata Hyuga : Neji's cousin. Really shy, scene haircut...you get it. Special ability: Byakugan.
Rock Lee: ...Green Onesie. Bowl Haircut. Special Ability: Primary Lotus.
Hatake Kakashi: The leader of Team 6. Special: Sharingan, Chidori.
Shikamaru Nara: Lazy. Special Ability: Shadow Imitation
Ino Yamanaka: Blonde ponytail, my personal favorite character. Special Ability: Ninja Wolfsbane.
Gaara: Evil, eyeliner wearing redheaded jinchuriki. Special Ability: Sand Coffin. Jinchuriki.
Temari: Gaara's sister. My other fave character. Special Ability: Hurricane Wind Wall, Wind Scythe.

So those are most of the main characters. The gameplay is fairly straight-forward. I give it an 8.5 out of ten. :)
